Becoming a Member
Becoming a legal member of Thrive Missionary Collective Ltd. is an exciting and important role in the organisation. As a member of Thrive Missionary Collective Ltd, you legally become part of the organisation.
Members have the primary responsibility of providing accountability to the board of directors and ensuring the organisation is serving its members well., including voting on key matters and helping ensure we remain aligned with our purpose.
Membership is open to individuals who: support our vision, mission, and values; and are willing to act in the best interests of the organisation.
Thrive Missionary Collective Ltd is a Company Limited by Guarantee. This means: members do not own shares in the company; members are not personally liable for the organisation’s debts beyond a nominal guarantee ($10); and each member agrees to contribute $10 if the company is wound up.
The organisation is governed by a Board of Directors. Members do not manage day-to-day operations but have important voting rights in specific key decisions.
Membership does not require financial contributions, volunteering, or active involvement in daily activities. However, members are encouraged to stay informed and engaged.
Membership is a formal role within the organisation and is different from general support or volunteering.
